I recently stayed at Wrexham Llyndir Hall Hotel, and I had a pretty mixed experience. The hotel has beautiful grounds and a calm setting, perfect for relaxation. While the service was friendly and the food was amazing, I noticed some areas that could use a bit of refurbishment, like the furniture in my room and the pool facilities. Overall, I think it's a solid choice with some room for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and clean, but a few details stood out negatively. I found a hole in the curtain and some of the furniture looked a bit tired. Plus, the lighting was dim, making the room feel darker than I'd hoped for.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally friendly and attentive, especially Ellen at reception, who was really helpful. However, a couple of mornings at breakfast felt a bit disorganized since I had to look for staff to get things started.
Location
8.0
The hotel is located in a serene area, surrounded by lovely gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. It feels like a hidden gem just outside Chester, which is great for a quiet getaway.
Dining
9.0
I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed the food. The three-course evening meal I had was beautifully cooked and offered great value. Breakfast had a good variety, but getting service could've been swifter.
Facilities
5.0
While the grounds were picturesque, some facilities like the pool definitely showed signs of tiredness. The changing rooms needed an upgrade, which was a letdown during my stay.

The hotel's location is lovely and peaceful, set away from the busy roads. I enjoyed the scenic grounds, which offered a perfect spot for relaxation.

I was impressed with the quality of the food, especially the breakfast buffet which had a broad selection to choose from. Each meal was deliciously prepared.
Facilities

While I found the leisure facilities relaxing, they do need some upgrades. The pool area, for example, had mirrors that looked quite old and needed replacement.

I had high hopes for my stay at Llyndir Hall but was left feeling pretty disappointed. While the staff were attentive and friendly, the rooms didn't live up to the expected standard, and the dining experience was a letdown. Overall, the hotel has potential, but there are some glaring issues that need addressing.

Rooms
5.0
My original room was dark, cramped, and not very inviting at all. I had to request a room change, which was slightly better but still had issues like overheating and poorly placed plug sockets.
Service
5.0
The staff, especially Ellen at reception, were friendly and went out of their way to help. However, the service experience felt inconsistent, especially in the restaurant where things didn't go smoothly.
Location

The hotel's surroundings are beautiful and tranquil, which adds to the charm. Being close to Chester is definitely a bonus for exploring local attractions.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing. The limited menu felt unexciting, and the food quality didn't meet expectations, with my meal being quite bland.
Facilities

The leisure facilities left a lot to be desired. The pool area felt more like a nightclub than a relaxing spa, and the changing rooms were dirty.

My experience at Wrexham Llyndir Hall Hotel was a mixed bag. The surroundings are beautiful, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, the booking process was frustrating, and while the room was comfortable, it didn't meet my expectations for the price paid.

Rooms

The room I received was comfortable, but I was initially disappointed about the upgrade situation. it certainly didn't feel like an executive room. The bed was very nice, though.
Service

While the morning staff were great, I encountered issues with one receptionist who was quite stroppy during the booking process. This left a negative impression, but the overall attentiveness of other staff members was a positive note.

The hotel is ideally situated in peaceful surroundings, just a few miles from Chester. this made it a perfect escape from the busy city. I appreciated the scenic backdrop as well.
Dining

Breakfast options were decent, and I enjoyed the high-quality food at dinner despite some miscommunication on the bill. I had to ensure everything was correct afterward, which was quite a hassle.

The hotel had good recreational facilities, though I missed out on using them this time. I appreciated how well-maintained everything seemed from a distance.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Wrexham Llyndir Hall Hotel. The room was larger than I expected but felt quite dated and needed some maintenance. On the positive side, the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and I enjoyed my meals in the restaurant. However, the spa area left much to be desired, as it seemed in need of a thorough cleaning.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious but looked tired with peeling wallpaper and a couple of maintenance issues. The bed itself was comfortable, though the pillows were too hard for my liking. I struggled a bit with the lighting for reading at night, and the temperature control was tricky.
Service
7.0
The staff were wonderful and very attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. They were quick to resolve issues and took care of various requests promptly, which I truly appreciated.
Location

Situated in a peaceful area, the hotel was surrounded by lovely grounds, offering a serene escape from the city. However, there was some noise at night from nearby traffic.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was enjoyable overall, with a good selection of meals. However, my dish was missing key ingredients, which was disappointing. Breakfast had a nice variety but was a hit or miss with the quality of certain items.
Facilities

The pool and gym facilities were adequate but showed signs of wear. The pool area could use a thorough cleaning, as it had a bit of a grimy feel. The spa services were nice but not really good.
